Bright and sunshiny, wonderful to sip on its own or with light dishes.
Estate: The Marchesa estate was founded in 1750 and is located in Gavi, in the Piedmont region of northwestern Italy. Today the estate is owned by the Giulini family and consists of its original land holdings of 188 acres, making it one of the largest in the Gavi region.
Winemaking: Grapes were sourced from sustainably farmed vines nearly 30 years old in sandy, clay-loam soil. Fermented and aged in stainless steel. Extremely low levels of sulphites are used.
Tasting Notes: Straw yellow in colour with aromas of apple and green melon. Fresh, light flavours of apple, lime and hints of coconut wrapped around a bright acidity, dry minerals and honeysuckle lingered between each summery sip.
