Sete ‘Vivo’ Vino Bianco Frizzante 2020

Winery: Founded in 2013 by friends Emiliano Giorgio and Arcangelo Galuppi, Sete is both a winery and cultural project. Located in the Amaseno River valley of Lazio, in between Rome and Naples, in the small village of Priverno, the goal of Sete is to “save from oblivion old, abandoned vineyards and almost forgotten varieties”.

Winemaking: Organic viticulture, vines are 40-50 years in red limestone/clay soils. Wild yeast spontaneous fermentation with 1 day skin maceration, refermentation in the bottled started with late harvest must, unfined, unfiltered, no added SO2.

Tasting Notes: Chamomile, green pear, lemon, orange zest, nutmeg, fennel whorl around green tea tannins and citrus acidity. Lemon, grapefruit infuse the horehound candy finish. Breezy fizz adds to the wild ride.
