Il Ceo ‘Vespri Pet’ Vino Bianco Frizzante 2020

Estate: Davide Andreatta began revitalizing vineyards and native vines scattered across the Breganze hills of Veneto in 2014. Viticulture is biodynamic, organic with ancient methods.

Winemaking: Hand harvested, 50 year old vines in the hills of Colline di Breganze, Mason, Fara Vicentina, 250-350 meters in elevation, volcanic with basalt, iron and silica soils. 30% of the grapes macerated on the skins for 24 hours, 70% direct pressed, wild yeast spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel, aged 6 months in stainless steel tanks. 2nd fermentation in the bottle started with previously frozen must from the same vintage, unfined, unfiltered, no added SO2.

Tasting Notes: Super fizzy; with lemon, pear, smoky minerality, citrus acidity underscored by classic lambic beer sourness. Herbs, trace of toasted bread infuse the lemon finish. Electric, pure, twinkly.
