Domaine Albert Mann ‘Riesling Cuvée Albert’ Vin d’Alsace 2016

Estate: Created upon the marriage of 2 families [Mann and Barthelmé] with winemaking history dating back to the 17th century, Domain Albert Mann is comprised of 23 hectares in the heart of Alsace. Brothers Maurice and Jacky Barthelmé, along with their wives Marie-Claire and Marie-Thérèse, have headed the organic, biodynamic estate since 1984.

Winemaking: Vines are in a mix of gravel, clay, limestone and granite soils. Minimal intervention in the cellar, spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts.

Tasting Notes: Lemon, lime, wisp of smoke, cardamon, lanolin, sea salt minerality underscored with racy acidity. Lemon and flinty minerality linger between each creamy sip. Straightforward lusciousness.
