Winery: Founded in 2013 by friends Emiliano Giorgio and Arcangelo Galuppi, Sete is both a winery and cultural project. Located in the Amaseno River valley of Lazio, in between Rome and Naples, in the small village of Priverno, the goal of Sete is to “save from oblivion old, abandoned vineyards and almost forgotten varieties”.
Winemaking: Wild yeast spontaneous fermentation in fiberglass tanks with 2 days skin maceration, unfined, unfiltered, no added SO2.
Tasting Notes: Grapefruit, apricot, peach, chamomile, salty minerality, citrus acidity glossed by the slightest hint of fizz. Delicate tannins, lemon, butterscotch, baked pear spotlight the roasted nut finish. Golden, creamy, vivacious.
Blend of Ottonese, Trebbiano, Moscato
