Estate: Vincenzo Di Meo makes wine the same way his grandfather did, with minimal intervention, along with organic and biodynamic methods. Located in Rocca San Giovanni in Abruzzo overlooking the Adriatic Sea, the 5 hectare estate is certified organic.
Winemaking: Vines are 20 years old in clay and shale soils. Hand-harvested, direct pressed in steel tanks, spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, aged for 2 months. Unfined, unfiltered, no added SO2.
Tasting Notes: Strawberry, raspberry, sea spray, cranberry, blackberry glide atop tangy acidity and barely there fizz. Blood orange and salted nuts linger between each fun, lively sip.
