Winery: Cantina Indigeno is the passion project of 4 friends obsessed with “primal and wild wines”. Located near Teramo in Abruzzo, the 4 friends [Alfredo Giugno, Nicola Reginaldi, Fabio Petrella, and Loreto Lamolinara] meld experimentation with minimal intervention and organic viticulture. Their engaging, innovative wines have swiftly established a devoted following.
Winemaking: Wild yeast spontaneous fermentation with 7 days skin maceration, aged 6 months in fiberglass containers.
Tasting Notes: Apricot, nectarine, pink grapefruit, crunchy green apple, hazelnut, salted caramel glossed by shimmery acidity and just a hint of fizz. Lemon, lime zest and hazelnut infuse the salty finish. Fun, bright, gluggable.
