Denny Bini ‘Spuma!’ FUSO Vino Frizzante NV

Estate: One of the stars of the return to traditional winemaking revolution in Emilia, Denny Bini is dedicated to crafting wines that express the land from which they originate. Using organic, low intervention, historical methods, his wines are made in much the same way as those of his great grandfathers.

FUSO is US importer Portovino’s project to bring natural, character drive daily drinkers to the forefront. They partner with producers dedicated to organic, low intervention viticulture, along with an emphasis on native grapes and traditional methods.

Winemaking: Vines are in sandy, marl soils. Spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts in stainless steel, second fermentation in the bottle started with must from the same vintage. Unfined, unfiltered

Tasting Notes: Apple, pear, wildflower honey, hibiscus glossed by tangy acidity and light fizz. Red currant and a toasty trace linger on the crisp, mineral driven finish. Invigorating and super gluggable.
