Estate: The Inama family has been making wine in the hills of the Soave Classico region of Veneto for over half a century. Today, Stefano Inama, along with his son Matteo, continue the family’s commitment to crafting wines that express the famed volcanic soils of the region.
Winemaking: Organically farmed vineyards have red clay and limestone soils, at 30-200 meters in elevation. Aged for 12 months in used French oak barriques.
Tasting Notes: Garnet in colour, with aromas of black cherry, fig, dried strawberry, orange zest, salted caramel, cigar box spice and sun warmed brick. Black cherry, blackberry, red cherry, red currant, crushed black peppercorn along with a trace of vanilla bean and eucalyptus are framed by robust tannins and fresh acidity. Molasses, clove, orange zest and fig saturate the plush finish. Structured, ample and velvety.
