Estate: Fabio di Ambrogi has been farming his 17 hectares of only indigenous grape vineyards and olive groves organically since 1994. Located in the hills between the Chiana and Arno valleys in Arezzo, he follows the Japanese philosophy of natural farming, practicing biodynamic principles and minimal intervention [in addition to organic certification].
Tasting Notes: Bright transparent ruby in colour, with aromas of cherry compote, strawberry, raspberry, rain washed rocks, light spice and an herbaceous trace. Tangy acidity twirls around ripe morello cherry, cranberry, hibiscus flower, red currant, earthy minerality and light tannins. Cranberry and a bitter streak linger on the snappy finish. Engaging, silky and fresh.
