Estate: The Di Camillo family has been making wine in the heart of Abruzzo, central/eastern Italy for generations. Tenuta I Fauri is located close to the Adriatic Sea, in the hills of Chieti. Luigi and Valentina work closely with their father, Domenico, continuing “the passion for making wine, a mysterious art to be developed and refined”.
Winemaking: Integrated and sustainable farming practices are used. Grapes are from vines in clay calcareous soil. Fermented and aged in stainless steel.
Tasting Notes: Gold in colour with aromas of sage, lemon, straw, honey, ginger, hint of lemongrass and a wisp of funk. Pear, green apple, lemon, an herbaceous streak, and chalky minerality are accented by tangy acidity. Pineapple, pear and a bitter streak linger on the zippy finish. Bright and crisp.
