budget friendly estate bottled italy organic sustainably farmed

Roccafiore: Fiordaliso 2018 & Fiorfiore 2017

Estate: Passionate about the distinctive Todi hills and their native grapes, father and son team Leonardo and Luca Baccarelli cultivate 15 hectares of vineyards in Umbria. Founded in 1999 when Leonardo planted his first vines, the estate is dedicated to expressing the elegance of indigenous/traditional grapes of Umbria [Grechetto di Todi, Trebbiano Spoletino, Sangiovese, Sagrantino], and their distinct sense of place in the Todi hills. Vineyards are farmed organically and are at 380 meters in elevation, with white clay, limestone and chalk soils.
