Estate: Corte Sermana is located in the rolling hills right next to Lake Garda on the southern side, in Lugana, northern Italy. The hills are known for their mineral rich, glacial soils. The family has deep respect for the land and their history, they do not use any chemicals in the vineyard or cellar. Their commitment to their territory is symbolized with the company logo of a Guinea fowl, a bird that has historically roamed the lands in Lugana.
Winemaking: Grapes are from vines in chalk and limestone soils. Aged for 4 months in stainless steel on the lees.
Tasting Notes: Coral pink in colour with aromas of strawberry, nectarine, floral and crushed rock minerality. Tasting similar to the aromas with strawberry, orange blossom, a trace of nectarine, pinch of white pepper, and citrus acidity. Citrus zest and minerals on the crisp, dry finish.
Pairing Suggestions from the Winery: Appetizers, soups, fish, white meat.
