Straightforward and versatile, this is a glugable companion at the table, it was fantastic with polenta fries and peppery ricotta dip.
Estate: Pasqua Vigneti e Cantine was founded in 1925 in Verona, northern Italy by the Pasqua brothers. The second generation of Pasqua brothers, Carlo, Giorgio and Umberto expanded the vineyards into other regions and still head the estate today.
Philosophy: The estate is passionate about “tradition, innovation, quality, research” values that they pass down to each generation, “and are narrated today through native wines from the Veneto region as well as other great Italian wines with DOC, DOCG and IGT quality designation”.
Tasting Notes: Brick garnet in colour with aromas of cherry, white pepper and hints of earth. Straightforward and easy drinking with black cherry and hints of dried flowers fortified by earth and leather notes, smooth tannins and traces of white pepper on the dry finish.
