A straightforward and refreshing Rosé fantastic on its own or with light dishes.
Winery: I was unable to locate any winemaking details other then the estate is located in the countryside of southwest France and is best known for their Armagnacs. The wine was imported to the US by Fruit of the Vines based in New York City, they do not appear to have a website.
Tasting Notes: Coral pink in colour with sweet strawberry and apple aromas that were like a puff of fresh summer air. Simple and refined melon and apple flavours joined a bright acidity in the light body, whilst clean minerals comprised the dry finish.
*When I sampled chocolate peanut butter cookies I was baking, they brought out a vivid watermelon flavour that was not present previously.
