Light and refreshing, this is a wonderfully glugable Rosé and a hard to beat value.
With notable winemakers and distributors producing high quality, small vineyard, sustainably farmed, bag in box wines, I have become a devotee of the versatile concept. They tend to be a bit harder to locate in most wines shops, [I put in a request at one of my local shops] and a few dollars more than the big name boxed wine, but they are a fantastic value well worth seeking out.
Winemaking: Vrac translates to “bulk” or “loose” and refers to the French practice of locals filling their own vessels with wine directly from the winery’s tanks. The producer intended to reflect that custom with VRAC, and crafted a simple, French countryside jug-style wine. This is only the second vintage for the Rosé.
Tasting Notes: Super pale coral pink in colour with aromas of summer melon and wildflowers. Light, airy strawberry and red grapefruit notes dash along a lively acidity along through the dry, mineral driven finish.
