Domaine de la Chapelle Saint Victor Rosé 2013

Fruity and straightforward, this is a refreshing Rosé lovely with light dishes.

Estate: Les Vins Breban is located in the foothills of Mont Sainte-Victoire in Coteaux d’Aix en Provence, southeastern France. Named after the Abbey of Saint Victor, whose monks purchased the property in the eleventh century, the family estate has been producing wines for 3 generations. Today the domaine is run by Jean Jacques Bréban.

Philosophy: Continuing with the family tradition, Jean Jacques Bréban focuses on “the development of quality wines made from carefully chosen Provençal grape varieties”.

Winemaking: Certified organic methods are used. Grapes were sourced from vineyards located on a rocky plateau at an elevation of nearly 1000 feet.

Tasting Notes: Pale coral pink in colour with aromas of strawberry and slate minerals. Refined strawberry and raspberry flavours highlighted grapefruit and clean minerals in the sprightly finish.
