Peter Lehmann ‘Art Series’ Shiraz Cabernet 2010

A 5th generation Barossan, Peter Lehmann began producing wine in 1947, and was Australia’s most renowned winemaker, being nicknamed “The Baron of Barossa”. Sadly he passed away last year at the age of 82, leaving his son Doug to head the company, which comprises over 150 different Barossa growers throughout the valley, and has an international reputation for producing some of “the very best Shiraz in Australia”. Part of the great, sustainable Hess Family of wines, Peter Lehmann wines are environmentally conscious during all facets of production.

A versatile blend with jammy flavours of cherry and strawberry running atop an undercurrent of earth and fresh herbs. Suggestions of spicy jalapeno and dark chocolate lingered between each sip. Friendly and easy drinking, this is a superb value that will pair with a wide variety of dishes.
