They arrived at our house shortly afterwards to celebrate, and she brought the remainder of the bottle for me to sample. Admittedly I was tempted by the strawberry aroma coming from the glass. The deep garnet colour gave way to a boisterous festivity of raspberry and blueberry sweetness that was rounded out with deluxe chocolate flavours. The finish added fantastic elements of spice, which lingered nicely, yet concluded with a bit of roughness that I wasn’t expecting. Nevertheless, this is an ideal fun, fruity, snappy bottle for picnics and parties where a screw top is suitable.
My sister and her boyfriend [now fiancé!] went apple picking yesterday. She picked up a couple bottles of picnic appropriate wine [specifically some screw top bottles] and snacks. Undoubtedly if she had known her boyfriend was going to propose to her, she would have chosen more distinguished bottles, but that is part of the charm of the occasion! Prior to the big moment, she sent me this enticing pic and told me that I had to try this wine as it was yummy, fruity and spicy.
